惨敗記録: VERITAS Storage Foundation 6.0.1 on CentOS 6.3 [VERITAS]
まずは、惨敗の記録から...
今回のupdateは首尾良くバックアップを取り、毎度のことながら、何も考えずにCentOS 6.3をclean install。
ココまでは、何の問題も無し。
でもって、VERITAS Storage Foundation 6.0.1をインストール開始です。
って事で、まず撃沈。
結構、きちんとチェックしている様で、/etc/redhat-releaseに「CentOS」の文字が残っていてもダメなようです。
なので、
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.3 (Santiago)
とか書き換えておきます。
ということで、再チャレンジ...
ってゆーか、なんで32-bitのパッケージが必要なんだ？
ということで、vault.centos.orgで調べてみると、条件を満たすパッケージは
pam-1.1.1-10.el6_2.1.i686
libstdc++-4.4.6-4.el6.i686
のようです。
しょうがないので
が、めげずに進めてみました。
vxfsのパッケージをインストールし直してみたところ、どうやらKernelのsymbolが無いとかでエラーになってる見たいです。
RHEL 6.3とCentOS 6.3の違いかと思ったのですが

これ見ると、RHEL 6.3でも同じみたい。
どうやらインストールログの最後に出てたアップデートパッケージの
sfha-rhel6_x86_64-6.0.1
こいつが手に入れば6.3でもOKの様ですが、これ、タダでは入手出来ないようですorz
ということで、CentOS 6.3使えません... 個人的に。
Symantecさん、Storage Foundation Basicでも6.3に対応してくださいな！

パソコンの事はよく分からないのでチンプンカンプンです。
