VERITAS Storage Foundation Basic: パッチ当て編

とりあえず、復旧したので、ゴミ掃除＋パッチ当てをしてますが、VERITAS Storage Foundation Basicにも忘れず、パッチ当て。

こんなんでてます。
HF3ってことでHot Fix 3です。

適用は、すべてのvolumeのI/Oを停止させて行う必要があるので、single user modeで適用するのがよろしいかと。
なんだけどinit 1で落とすだけだとvxiodが生き残ったままだったりするので、single user modeで立ち上げ直すのが、楽ちんです。

このままCtrl-Dでsingle user modeから抜けてしまうと、どうもうまくvolumeを認識できないようで、fsckでエラーになってしまいます。
ん～、いいかげんにやるとダメですねぇ(^^;

えーと、vxinstallを実行する必要があるそうです。

ちなみに、よーく読むと、Basicは適用対象じゃないような... ま、いっか。
